Hi! I’m Lauren, I’m 17 years old, and today I want to share with you a journey through some moments that have marked my life… and how those small steps led me to where I am today.
First photo
This one is from the last day of my administrative assistant course. There I am with my teacher and my friends. It was a short course, but it gave me friendships and lessons that I still use today.
Second photo
This one wasn’t taken the same day, but afterwards: we had a small but very nice farewell. We had already finished the course and wanted to celebrate with something simple. It was the perfect ending.
Third photo
My fifteenth birthday. And yes, it was on a Saturday and the party was a bit big. I was with my friends, my family, music… everything! It was an amazing day I’ll never forget.
Fourth photo
Here I am, relaxed in my cooking course, preparing my favorite food: fast food. But homemade, of course. It turned out delicious! I love cooking with friends.
Fifth photo
This one is from the hill in San Carlos with my family. Even cousins I hadn’t seen in years came. It was a simple day, but one of those that bring everyone together.
Sixth photo
December 2023, on Primera Avenue in Montería. That day I was out with someone very special to me. It was a quiet moment, but full of connection.
Talking about my present and future
All of that led me to make an important decision: starting my fast-food business, which is already running and something I’m very proud of. It’s my first real venture, and every day I learn something new.
At the same time, life gave me another surprise: I started studying Software Engineering, a career I’m passionate about because it allows me to create solutions and never stop learning.
Right now, both things coexist in my life: I have my business running and I study with great excitement.
My plan for the future is clear: I want to gain experience in every area I can.
On one hand, I want to grow my business much more, applying everything I keep learning.
On the other, I also want to work in the field of software engineering, because it’s an area that motivates me deeply.
For me, it’s not about choosing one thing or the other, but about adding experiences and growing in every direction that makes me happy.
Reflection
Life has taught me that when you love learning and are not afraid of change, everything is possible. And this is just the beginning of my story.
